Dara : "My focus is plastic pollution and I have created a series of large watercolor paintings on the crisis and its affects on humans and animals.

My obsession with the albatross birds and how they feed their babies - shredded balloons mistaken for food, sea weed.

I added balloons that represent corporations, fast food businesses like McDonalds etc…who should be responsible for the pollution.

They should also not be making balloons, styrafoam packaging, straws for one-time use that get lost in nature. These companies must be held accountable."
