Thomas : "In the foreground two figures seated at a dining table sit back and wait to be served. They are uncouth (one has his foot rested on the diner table). The figure points mockingly to three hooded figures trapped with their hands and heads in stocks. To either side of these prisoners stand their jailers, faceless and hooded.
Behind them is a half-built or either half-destroyed Stars and Stripes Wall : Have the right wing policy makers got their way or has democratic reason fought back and begun to destroy their wall/their policy? Against the blue background at the end of the wall hangs an abstract figure - perhaps the next innocent victim for the gallows ?"
