Nikkita : "In South View, there is a grey road marking which references back to the 1960/70’s troubles in the North of Ireland, where the British Army built roadblocks to close border roads to stop free movement between the North & South of Ireland.
All the Army roadblocks and guarded border posts were removed as part of the Peace Process which began in 1999 to heal the divisions and tensions and bring to an end the violence of the past. Brexit (Britain's decision in 2016 to exit from the European Union) is in danger of bringing back the roadblocks, border posts, tensions and violence."
