Elizabeth : "Created to protest the use of ‘depleted’ uranium weaponry. The poisons from these weapons attach themselves to the body like prickly burrs and are so powerful they mutate human DNA. This is my photographic documentation of performance wearing ephemeral sculpture made from the sticky seed pods of burdock weed (burrs). Looking to the past, it is evident what dunces we have been in our violations of the rights of our fellow man. Here I contemplate my complicity and look toward the future as our power to violate now imperils all life forms."
