My recent work uses the traditional medium of egg tempera to create paintings, which integrate illusionary drawing and painting techniques with abstract minimalist surfaces. When viewed collectively, the paintings form a complex web of signification, where bursts of detail, colour and abstract forms add to the overall atmosphere and meaning.
